Project Portfolio : Water Project - Kg Pangi Stesen & Kg Pangi Seberang, Tenom; Sabah

Project Date : 12 - 20 April 2014
Location       : Kg Pangi Stesen & Kg Pangi Seberang, Tenom; Sabah

This is a Murut village which is about 45 minutes train ride away from Tenom town. The old train system, which runs only twice a day (one way) is the only means of transportation to and out from the village. This project served 2 communities, Kampung  Pangi Stesen and Kampung Pangi Seberang. There are 23 houses in Kampung Pangi Stesen, whilst there are 16 houses in Kampung Pangi Seberang.

The existing water source is built individually by a few houses and shared between the villagers. The gravity feed water system provided by the Kementerian Kesihatan only provides water to the school and to the workers' quarters of that train station, which is  also within the perimeter of Kampung Pangi Stesen.

Impian Sabah's gravity feed water project (2 separate water source) is the first system that supplies water to every households in Kampung Pangi Stesen and Kampung Pangi Seberang.
